The ONE Sings program began in the fall of 2015. I compiled a broad list of songs which I can sing and which I consider part of the commonly known folk song repertoire of the Northeast of the US. This was a starting point and the intention was to very quickly modify this repertoire drawing from local sources, existing IAA culture and also working with songs that best support the mission of ONE Sings. Which is to  use folkloric song to support the curriculum at IAA, to develop the musical skills of the students and staff and to strengthen the community through musical performance.
