It is mainly for the guitar players who line up at my door and demand to be taught “Iron Man” or “Seven Nation Army.” Fun little riffs are such a huge part of what motivates us, but the internet is full of riff teachers and I’d rather talk about technique, transposition and rhythm, so here is my compromise. A collection of tasty little riffs presented as “Single String Exercises!” Play them on one string, then switch to the next string, and so on. Metallica as you have never seen it before!
